St. Lucie County is part of Florida’s Nineteenth Judicial Circuit, which also covers Martin, Indian River, and Okeechobee counties. If you are arrested in St. Lucie County, you will be booked at the St. Lucie County Jail on North Rock Road in Fort Pierce and brought before a judge for first appearance within 24 hours.

Felony cases are heard at the St. Lucie County Courthouse in downtown Fort Pierce, and county court matters are heard there and at the St. Lucie West annex in Port St. Lucie.
