Meet Andrew Jeacoma

Throughout his career, first as an assistant public defender in Palm Beach County and now in private practice, Andrew Jeacoma has defended more than 500 criminal cases. He has tried cases to jury verdict across a wide range of charges, from misdemeanors such as DUI and battery to serious felonies, including burglary of an occupied dwelling, burglary of an occupied conveyance while armed with a firearm, drug trafficking, and attempted first-degree murder with a firearm. His experience includes pretrial motions, violation-of-probation proceedings, and sentencing hearings, where preparation and mitigation determine the outcome.

Evidence Review

Every case starts with discovery. Under Florida’s criminal discovery rules, the State must disclose its police reports, body camera and dash camera footage, witness statements, and lab results. Andrew reviews all of it and compares each account against the others, because the weaknesses in a case are usually found where the report, the video, and the testimony do not match.
